MEN'S TENNIS ADDS ANOTHER WIN DURING SPRING BREAK

MISENHEIMER, N.C. - The Birmingham-Southern men's tennis team added another win on their spring break road trip after being rained out against Guilford. The Panthers played hard to earn a 8-1 win over Pfeiffer University in a non-conference match Thursday afternoon at the Knapp Tennis Center.

Birmingham-Southern took two out of three doubles matches with No. 1 Tanner DeBardelaben and Wil Dotson, and No. 2 Eli Ingleson and Sam Tolbert both taking their opponents in 8-6 victories. No. 3 Ryan King and Tom Smith fought in a tough match but fell 8-7. 

BSC ran the table in singles play, taking all six points in straight sets for the Panthers. Dotson took his opponent in a quick 6-0, 6-1 matchup on court one. Tom Smith kept up the hard fight to take Mateo Sonaglia 6-4, 7-6 to earn the final point for Birmingham-Southern.
