MONTEVALLO, Ala. - The Birmingham-Southern men's and women's cross country teams competed in the Falcon Classic on Friday night with the men finishing in the top half of all teams.

The Panther's ninth place finish in the 8k run was headlined by Hunter Siddle and Noah Arrington with times of 28:20.05 and 28:20.88 respectively. Wyatt Jones (29:01.05) and Pyunn Ntwari (29:19.82) also finished inside the top 100 of all runners. Freshman Sam Holloway made his collegiate debut with a time of 33:23.70.

For the women's 5k run, all runners finished inside the top 100 individually. Freshman Catherine Chua led the way with a time of 22:19.35, and Victoria Woods and Gabe Earhart were not far behind with times of 22:23.00 and 22:55.20 respectively.
