XC RUNNERS HAVE SEASON-BEST TIMES; MEN FINISH 2ND

MONTGOMERY, Ala. - The Birmingham-Southern men's and women's cross country teams competed in the Huntingdon Invitational on Friday morning with each runner finishing with their season-best time. The Panthers had a total of four top ten individual finishes on the day.

In the men's 8000 meter run, BSC finished in second place and only trailed to NCAA Division 1 side Troy University. Noah Arrington (28:11.64), Wyatt Jones (28:46.62), and Hunter Siddle (28:46.81) finished 7th, 8th, and 9th respectively with very impressive performances. Pyunn Ntwari was a huge contributor for the Panthers with an 11th place finish and a time of 29:09.48. Jack Rodgers (31:49.19) and Sam Holloway (32:40.69) also had great days for BSC finishing 15th and 16th respectively.

For the women's 6000 meter race, Gabe Earhart and Catherine Chua had extremely impressive performances. Earhart finished inside the top 10 with a time of 28:00.05, and Chua finished 11th with a time of 28:00.09.
