Summary

Biography

2013: Patrick came in and made an immediate impact as a freshman this year. Not only did he travel to all four fall tournaments, but he led the team in scoring average (76.00), low round (71), and birdies made (17). His par-3 scoring average of 3.09 also puts him among those on the national leaderboard in that criterion. Patrick looks to not only keep up his good play, but improve his game over the 2013 off-season in order to qualify for all the spring travel opportunities and compete in the SAA Conference Championships. 

Pre-BSC: Played his prep career for Decatur High School in Decatur, Ala., where he was a four-year starter on the Decatur golf team. He was a member of the Decatur HS honors society and three-time All-Area honoree. His highlights include a 5-0 record in the Nike Cup and earning low-medalist honors at sectionals his senior year. 

Personal: Son of Stephen and Michelle Puryear & Scott Newsom... majoring in business administration.
