Pre-BSC:  Played for coaches Dave Randall and Jim Ragsdale at Jackson Preparatory School... named Dorothy Vest Junior Player of the Year in the state of Mississippi... voted team MVP and received the Coach's Award... amassed a 40-0 record over three years at No. 1 doubles... competed for the state of Mississippi in the Junior Davis Cup... ranked first in 18s in the state.

Personal:  Born on Oct. 2, 1989... son of Rod and Betty Lynn Freeman... has two sisters, Kate and Laura Alice... father Rod played basketball at Jones Junior College in 1977-78... majoring in accounting.
