Biography

2017: Appeared in six races during the season … was the sole BSC men’s runner to compete at the NCAA Division III South/Southeast Region Cross Country Championship (Nov. 11) … finished in the top 10 in three races … opened the year with a new, personal 5K best at the JSU Struts Cross Country Opener with a time of 16:42.5 (Sept. 1) … set a personal career best 8K in his final race with a time of 25:55.7 ... named to Southern Athletic Association All-Sportsmanship Team.

2016: Competed in seven races … ran at NCAA Division III South/Southeast Region Championships (Nov. 12) and finished in season best 8K time of 27:38.

2015: Set a personal 8K record at the JSU Foothills XC Invitational (Oct. 3) … ran a career-best 16:48 5K at the JSU Struts XC Season Opener (Sept. 4).

2014: Ran a season-best 27:54 in the 8K at the Foothills Invitational (Oct. 4).

Pre-BSC:  Four-year letterman at Saint James School for Coaches Sally Taunton, Zack Sollie, and Chris Campos... Coaches Award recipient in both cross country and track and field... All-Metro Cross Country Team.

Personal:  Son of Douglas and Elizabeth Peifer... born on April 2, 1996... has three younger brothers: James, Killian, and Frederick... majoring in psychology.
