2015-16: Earned Southern Athletic Association All-Conference Second Team honors … competed in three A events and three B events at the SAA Championships as a sophomore … placed third in the 200-yard freestyle relay (1:27.20), ninth in the 50-yard freestyle (22.11), seventh in the 400-yard medley relay (3:30.78), second in the 100-yard breaststroke (58.62), seventh in the 200-yard medley relay (1:36.67), and second in the 200-yard breaststroke (2:07.46).

2014-15:  Placed in three events at the SAA Championship, including two in the 'A' finals... SAA finishes:  2nd, 100 breast (58.55); 2nd, 200 breast (2:07.35); 11th, 50 free (22.02).

Pre-BSC:  Swam for coach Allison Brol at Huntsville High School, specializing in breaststroke and butterfly... 2012 and 2013 Huntsville All-City Team... 2013 All-North Alabama Team... helped HHS win the state championship in 2012 and 2013.

Personal:  Born on April 11, 1996... son of Walter and Melanie Strankman... has a younger sister, Cole... majoring in physical therapy with a minor in music.
