Pre-BSC:  Four-year letter winner at Winfield City High School... notched personal records of 2:32(800m), 5:38(1600) and 20:50(5k)... earned All-Section cross-country honors in 2008,2009 and 2011 and was selected to the All-Northwest Alabama runners team in 2011... named three times to the All-County team and four times to both the All-Conference and All-Section teams for track and field during her tenure at Winfield City HS... in her senior campaign she earned All-State for track and field. In addition to her athletic achievements, Kelsey was the WCHS Valedictorian, National Honor Society president and Bryant-Jordan Scholar Athlete Regional Award Winner in 2012.

Personal: Daughter of Chad and Kristy Holdbrooks... has two siblings, Emma Kate and Davis... undeclared major... also competes on the BSC cross country team.
