Outdoor 2019: Competed in shot put, hammer and discus throw … threw a PR in discus (37.12m) at the Samford Alabama Track Challenge (Apr. 11-12) for an eighth place finish … posted a new personal best in hammer (37.03m) at the Phoenix Invitational (Apr. 6) … found a fourth place finish in hammer at the Major Quad (Apr. 19).

Indoor 2019: Competed in shot put and weight throw … threw a PR in shot put (39’ 9.25”) at UAB Vulcan Invitational (Jan. 12) for a sixth place finish … posted a PR in weight throw (42’0”) at the BSC Panther Indoor Icebreaker (Nov. 30) … earned a second place finish in weight throw and seventh in shot put at Sewanee Indoor Invitational (Feb. 15).

Outdoor 2018: Competed in shot put, discus and hammer throw … threw PR in shot put (38’7.5”) , discus (108’8”) and hammer (112’) at conference championship for 11th place finishes. 

Indoor 2018: Did not compete in indoor.

Pre-BSC: Four time varsity letter winner in football and track and field … 

Personal: Born August 26, 1998 … son of Michelle Scholtz and Ronald Bridges … mother ran track at Clemson 1987-1992 … father, Ronald, played football at the University of Alabama … grandfather played football at Notre Dame 1952-1958 … majoring in global and comparative studies.
