BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's basketball team fell to Covenant on the road on Tuesday night, losing to the Scots 88-72.
Birmingham-Southern (2-3) was down to Covenant 48-32 at halftime, but could not put together a comeback in the final 20 minutes, matching the Scots' scoring in the second half.
Senior guard Calvin Bak (Muscle Shoals, Ala./Muscle Shoals HS) was the Panthers' leading scorer in the game, scoring 15 points. Bak was 2-of-4 from three and 5-of-10 from the field, making all three of his free throw attempts.
BSC will travel to Jackson, Miss., for its next two games in Millsaps' tournament. The Panthers will face LeTourneau on Saturday, Nov. 23 and then Ozarks on Sunday, Nov. 24.
