Jordan “JJ” Saslo was named assistant coach of the men’s and women’s swimming and diving programs in August of 2022.

In Saslo’s first year as assistant coach, he helped lead the men’s team to their 9th Southern Athletic Association title while the women’s team placed 3rd. He primarily assisted in training the freestyle and sprint groups. 

Before coming to the Hilltop, he was an All-American swimmer in the 200 freestyle relay and 200 medley relay at Florida Southern College. He served as team captain for his senior year. He remains on Florida Southern’s Top Ten Times for the 50 butterfly, 100 butterfly, 200 butterfly, 200 medley relay, and 200 freestyle relay. Saslo graduated from Florida Southern in 2022 with a B.S. in psychology and a minor in criminology. 

Saslo is currently pursuing his master’s from Troy University in sports management.
