Nine Women Earn All-SAA Swimming and Diving Honors

ATLANTA – Nine Birmingham-Southern women's swimming and diving student-athletes were selected to 2019 All-Southern Athletic Association Teams, the conference announced Tuesday.

Led by Swimmer of the Year Becca Erwin (Duluth, Ga./Duluth HS) and Newcomer of the Year Anna Jordan Luth (Pensacola, Fla./Booker T. Washington HS), the women's team had nine all-conference selections.

The women's All-SAA First Team was comprised of Erwin, Luth, Chelsea Chamblee (Boaz, Ala./Boaz HS), Mary Katherine Stewart (Daphne, Ala./Daphne HS), Anna Grace Pell (Madison, Ala./Bob Jones HS), Mary Beth Ronne (Athens, Tenn./McMinn County HS) and Katherine Pepe (Sarasota, Fla./Cardinal Mooney HS).

On the Second Team was Kayla Canon (Wentzville, Mo./Blue Springs South HS) and rounding it out on the Honorable Mention Team was Maddie Hosick (Kansas City, Mo./Lee's Summit West HS).

Head coach Toby Wilcox was named the SAA Women's Coach of the Year.
