JACKSON, Miss. – Birmingham-Southern women's basketball defeated LeTourneau 63-53 Saturday at the Millsaps Tournament. BSC is now 4-0 on the year.
Derienne Black (Madison, Ala./Sparkman HS) led with a game-high 16 points and team-high nine rebounds. Emilee Olsen (Marietta, Ga./Lassiter HS) and Misa Fujii (Sunnyvale, Calif./Notre Dame HS) finished right behind her at 14 points each, respectively. Olsen also earned a team-high seven blocks. Leah Middleton (Decatur, Ga./St. Pius XH) rounded out the Panthers in double-figures with 11.
BSC closes out play at the tournament tomorrow against Ozarks (Ark.). Tipoff is set for 11 a.m.
