Panthers Fall on Road at Piedmont

DEMOREST, Ga.  – Piedmont College used a big fourth quarter to come back and defeat Birmingham-Southern women's basketball 67-59.  BSC moved to 9-3 overall with the loss.

Emilee Olsen (Marietta, Ga./Lassiter HS) led the Panthers.  She earned team-highs of 20 points and 11 rebounds for her sixth double-double of the season.  Derienne Black (Madison, Ala./Sparkman HS) also finished in double-figure points with 16 and earned a game-high five steals.

BSC returns to action this Friday.  They host Centre College in a doubleheader with the men's team.  Tipoff is set for 6 p.m.
