McCormack is a former mini-tour player, PGA associate and golf  instructor who has returned to golf from corporate business roles. He developed a passion for strength and conditioning through multi-sport training and elite triathlons and this training ingrained a passion for “whole self” golf training; conditioning the body to generalized movement patterns and the mind for adaptability. He is part of the positive parent association through U.S. Kids golf, a certified club fitter, and he holds a GLT certification in coaching and practice design.

In his two years at BSC, McCormack has coached both women’s and men’s team players to individual tournament victories.  BSC has climbed the ranks to third overall in SAA conference competitions, each year beating out top 25 nationally ranked DIII teams. Coach Reed has coached four all conference award winners and three academic all Americans.
