2022-2023: Selected as an Honorable Mention for the Southern Athletic Association... Southern Athletic Association Academic Honor Roll selection... at the SAA championships she placed 3rd in the 3 meter diving event (16) and 5th at the 1 meter diving event (14)... helped BSC to a 3rd place finish at the SAA championships.

2021-2022: Selected as an Honorable Mention for the Southern Athletic Association... Southern Athletic Association Academic Honor Roll selection... at the SAA championships she placed 3rd in the 3 meter diving event (16) and 3rd at the 1 meter diving event (16)... helped team win Southern Athletic Association Championship.

2020-21: Selected to Second-team All-SAA honors … helped team win Southern Athletic Association Championship (Feb.17-20) … had a season high dive in the 1-Meter Diving (178.65). At SAA Championship claimed second in the 3-Meter Diving (311.45)

2019-20: Was injured but looks to return in the 2020-21 season. 

PRIOR TO BSC: Earned three varsity letters for swimming … team captain … two-time diver of the year … earned 2019 sportsmanship award … National Honor Society, Beta Club and Mu Alpha Theta member … SGA president … two-time class president … speech and debate president … two-time district champion in speech … four-time distinguished scholar.

PERSONAL: Born January 5 … daughter of Shelley Swearinger and Lazaro Ruiz … has one sister, Brianna Ruiz … plans to study religion with minor studies in spanish.
