Panthers Conference Streak Continues

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.  – Birmingham-Southern women's volleyball improved to 15-5 overall, 9-1 in Southern Athletic Association play with its 3-0 win over Millsaps College Tuesday night.  

Alyssa Coats (Nolensville, Tenn./Nolensville HS) earned her second double-double of the season in the win. She earned 12 digs and a match-high 10 kills.  Reigning SAA Defensive Player of the Week Caroline Johnson (Lucas, Texas/Lovejoy HS) finished with a match-high 19 digs.  

The Panthers host Centre College and Sewanee this weekend.  Friday night against Centre will be their Pink Game.  BSC has been raising money for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation of Alabama.  50 percent of proceeds at the concession stand will also go to the BCRFA.  Match time is set for 5 p.m.
