BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's basketball team started a win streak on Thursday with its 95-78 victory over Belhaven University. BSC (2-0) outshot the Blazers in every category in both halves.
Five Panthers finished in double-figure points.
Christian Stewart (Birmingham, Ala./Shades Valley HS) earned a team-high 16 points.
Troy Stephens (Atlanta, Ga./St. Pius X Catholic HS)
was right behind him with 13, respectively. And
Paul Fitzgerald (Fort Valley, Ga./The Westfield School),
Cameron Glover (Trussville, Ala./Hewitt-Trussville HS), and
Josh Childers (Madison, Ala./Westminster Christian Academy) picked up 10 points each.
Ben Spence (Germantown, Tenn./Christian Brothers HS) grabbed a game-high 11 rebounds and had a game-high five assists.
BSC hits the road next. They take on Huntingdon College on Saturday in a 2 p.m. tip-off.
