ATLANTA, Ga. - The Birmingham-Southern men's soccer team tied after two overtimes with Oglethorpe.
Coleman Jennings had the Panthers only goal this game.
Oglethorpe out-shot the Panthers 19-10 total and in each period of play. The first goal of the game came from Oglethorpe in the 17th minute of play. Birmingham-Southern had only 3 shots in the first half and none of them were able to get a goal for the Panthers.
The second half was a more physical fight between the Panthers and Petrels. The Panthers saw a yellow card within the first minute of play in the second half. Less than 10 minutes later, both teams saw more yellow cards with the Petrels being given two and the Panthers one. The goal for the Panthers came in the 87th minute when

Coleman Jennings a perfect pass to boot it in to tie it up 1-1.
The Panthers held off the Petrels five shots to keep them from scoring in either over time periods, but the match ended in a 1-1 tie.
