Birmingham, Ala.- The Birmingham-Southern women's swimming and diving team competed against Emory University Saturday at the Birmingham Crossplex.
The Panthers kept the momentum going into this meet after battling against Alabama.
Ella Falco took second place in the 1000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:16.15. The Panthers took first through third place in the 200-yard backstroke.
Mae Moore finished in first place with a time of 2:15.86.
Nikki Lee recorded a time if 2:18.15 to place her in second place.
Rachael Brooks came in third place with a time 2:19.05.
Mary Katherine Stewart and
Anna Jordan Luth took first and second place in the 500-yard freestyle. Stewart recorded a time of 5:32.65 and Luth recorded a time of 5:37.76. Going into the 200-yard breaststroke,
Lauren Lacson,
Corinne Kuiters, and
Katherine Pepe all placed in this event. Lacson came in first place with a time of 2:35.18. Kuiters recorded a time of 2:40.60 to place her in second. Pepe came in third place with a time of 2:43.93.
