BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's swimming & diving team finished second behind a strong Milligan team and above Loyola New Orleans in their final meet before the SAA Swimming & Diving Championships.
Being the final BSC home meet, Senior Day commenced for
Chloe Carignan,
Cameron Coffey,
Ella Falco,
Adam Jones,
Nicole Lee, and
Regan Skedgell. All six seniors have been conference champions with 'Southern and will look to bring home another title in February.
Milligan and Loyola New Orleans did not have divers competing in the meet, but the BSC men's team put up fantastic scores.
Justin Toth took first place in the 1 meter dive with a score of 487.60.
Avery Balch was just behind with an impressive 477.90 while
Garrett George rounded out the top three with a 4:59.35. In the 3 meter dive,
Garrett George repeated as the winner but this time with a 493.30 score.
Justin Toth finished runner-up with a 465.10, and
Avery Balch took home third place with a 449.75.
