BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women's basketball fell short of in-state rival Huntingdon College by 15 points. The Panthers battled it out leading the first two quarters in the game.
The first quarter for the Panthers and Hawks was an intense 10 minutes finishing with the Panthers leading 25-23. The battle continued going into the second quarter with the Panthers leading the second quarter 26-25. BSC lead the first half with a score of 51-48. The Hawks came into the third quarter outscoring the Panthers 31-24. Going into the fourth quarter, the Hawks continued to lead the game with a final score of 106-91.
Five Panthers finished in double-digits led by
Montana Harris recording 12 points, four rebounds, and one assist.
Cassady Quintana,
Mackenzie Raleigh,
Brooke Westhoelter all picked up 11 points each.
McKenna Buckner recorded 10 points.
