ATLANTA, Ga. - The Panthers dropped their final game of 2021 to Emory by a score of 91-67. The Panthers got off to a hot start but Emory stormed back and would dominate the rest of the game.
Birmingham-Southern got out to an early 11-3 lead before Emory finally found their rhythm on offense. Emory then went on a 13-5 run to tie the game 16-16 halfway through the first half. Both teams would trade baskets for the next couple of minute. Emory then went on another run to close the half and would lead by eight at the half.
Out of halftime BSC cut the lead to five, but could not get any closer. Emory pulled away and did not look back. The Eagles hot shooting continued through most of the second half and Birmingham-Southern had no answers. BSC fell to Emory in their final game of the Emory Holiday Classic 91-67.
