Macon, Ga. – The Birmingham-Southern women's basketball team competed against Wesleyan College in a second matchup for the seasons. After dropping over 100 points against the Wolves at the beginning of the season, the Panthers showed up and dropped another 100 points against them with a final score of 111-72.
The Panthers led the Wolves scoring 20 plus points in each quarter. BSC started off strong in the first quarter outscoring Wesleyan 24-12. The Panthers kept the energy going by scoring 33 points in the second quarter and leading the first half 57-34. BSC came into the third quarter rolling out scoring WC 28-16. Fourth quarter the Wolves gave the Panthers a battle, but the Panthers obtained the victory.
McKenna Buckner had a dominate performance leading the team in points, once again, with 19 points.
Cassady Quintana recorded a double-double for the Panthers with 12 points and 10 rebounds.
Brooke Westhoelter dropped 16 points and picked up nine rebounds.
Montana Harris scored 10 points and added seven rebounds.
