BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Deadlocked at zero for most of the match, Birmingham-Southern women's soccer scored three goals in the last 15 minutes to earn the 3-0 shutout win over Belhaven University Tuesday night.
Ansley Hicks (Gadsden, Ala./ Gadsden City HS) opened scoring off a rebound from a shot on goal by
Abby Branham (Cullman, Ala./ Cullman HS). Branham then scored a goal of her own to put the Panthers up 2-0. Five minutes later
Sarah Slater Hicks (Gadsden, Ala./ Gadsden City HS) sent a pass up to
Madeleine Ash (Franklin, Tenn./Franklin HS) for the final goal.
Blakley Jones (Tuscaloosa, Ala./Holy Spirit Catholic HS) earned the shut-out win with a game high four saves.
