MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Birmingham-Southern women's lacrosse team couldn't recover from a big offensive first half from Rhodes College and eventually fell 21-9. BSC (3-5) moved to 2-2 in conference with the loss.
Marissa Henderson (McDonough, Ga./Ola HS) earned a hat trick. All three of her goals were unassisted.
Lizzie La Vangie (Jacksonville, Fla./Darlington School) and
Sydney Riley (Collierville, Tenn./Briarcrest Christian HS) also put in multiple goals.
Alexus Howard (Franklin, Tenn./Franklin HS) earned a game-high 10 saves after spending over 44 minutes goal.
Jordyn Davidson (Clermont, Fla./East Ridge HS) received the loss.
The Panthers remain on the road and travel to Atlanta to face Oglethorpe University on Saturday, March 27. Game time is set for noon.
