BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Birmingham-Southern baseball rebounded from an opening 5-4 loss to win game two 2-1 in their final day Southern Athletic Association play against Centre College. The teams split the series 2-2. BSC is now 15-8 overall, 7-5 in conference.
Alfredo Granier (Atlanta, Ga./Holy Innocents Episcopal) finished with a team-best four hits, going .571 at the plate.
Troy Bearden (Gulf Shores, Ala./Wallace-Dothan) received the game one loss, and
Tristan Harvin (Dothan, Ala./Houston Academy) picked up the complete game win, striking out a team-high nine batters and allowing just one run.
The Panthers hit the road next. They travel to take on Sewanee in a four-game series March 27-28.
