BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's lacrosse team led for its entire game against Huntingdon College Tuesday night in Krulak Stadium, outshooting the Hawks 55-18. BSC (4-1) averaged over four goals a quarter in its 17-1 win.
Carter Watkins (Charlotte, N.C./Adrey Kell HS) led the team with five points. He scored four goals and assisted another.
Micah Finotti (Greenville, S.C./Christ Church Episcopal School) finished right behind him with four points off three assists and a goal. Eight other Panthers found the back of the net in the victory. Reigning Southern Athletic Association defensive player of the week
Luke Fajack (Chapel Hill, N.C./Bridgewater College) earned the win. He finished with a team-high four saves.
BSC hits the road next. They take on Transylvania in Lexington, Ky. on Friday, March 12. Game time is set for 5 p.m.
