BSC dominates Oglethorpe in final home game

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Birmingham-Southern men's lacrosse improved to 8-4 overall and 4-2 against Southern Athletic Association opponents with its 19-6 win over Oglethorpe University Sunday afternoon.
 
Austin Johnson (Johns Creek, Ga./Chattahoochee HS) led with a game-high seven points off seven goals.  Carter Watkins (Charlotte, N.C./Adrey Kell HS) and Cameron Herd (Peachtree City, Ga./Starr's Mill HS) finished with five points each.  Watkins had two goals and three assists.  Herd finished with four assists and one goal.  Three Panthers split time in goal, but Luke Fajack (Chapel Hill, N.C./Bridgewater College) earned the win.
 
BSC gets some time to prepare or the SAA tournament.   Quarterfinals will be April 23 in Danville, Ky.
