BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -- No. 9 Birmingham-Southern softball blanked Millsaps College Sunday in the final regular season game for both teams, 3-0. The Panthers (25-4, 12-2 SAA) tallied nine hits on the day as they clinched the top seed in the upcoming SAA Tournament.
Saydee Keith (Corner, Ala. , Corner HS) led the way at the plate for BSC, going 3-for-4, while
Kailey Walters (Trussville, Ala. , Hewitt-Trussville HS) finished 2-for-3 with two RBI.
Hailee Bryan (Laurel Hill, Fla. , Paxton HS) tossed her team-leading fifth complete game of the season, allowing four hits while striking out three, improving to 9-3 on the year.
BSC begins play in the SAA Tournament in Danville, Ky. April 22.
