Birmingham, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women's swimming team returned home competing in a dual meet against the University of Montevallo and Millsaps College. The Panthers dominated in both meets outscoring both teams. BSC vs Montevallo score was 184-73 and against Millsaps was 206-29. The panthers won 12 out of the 28 events at the meet.
The women had another dominate performance in the relay side of the meet. In the 200 Medley Relay,
Mae Moore,
Alex Sprague,
Sabrina Morgavi, and
Regan Skedgell claimed first place with a time of 1:53.96. The Panthers also claimed second place in this event with a time of 1:57.67. Going into the 200 Free Relay,
Mary Katherine Stewart, Sprague, Skedgell, and Moore took first place with a final time of 1:43.70.
BSC dominated in the 100 Free taking first through third place.
Mary Katherine Stewart led the Panthers in this event coming first with a time of 1:59.15.
Jocelyn Helsby (2:02.56) and Anna Grace Paul (2:07.34) were right behind here in this event. The Panthers kept that energy going into 100 Back continuing to take first through third place.
Mae Moore led this event coming in first with a time of 1:02.53. Right behind her was
Nikki Lee (1:04.53) and Rachel Brooks (1:04.93).
Alex Sprague would go on to take first place in the 100 Breast with a final time of 1:12.42.
Regan Skedgell represented in the 50 Free with a time of 26.51 putting her in first place with
Chloe Carignan right behind her in second place. The Panthers would go on to take first through third place in the 200 Back being led by Moore coming in first with a time of 2:14.22. Brooks (2:17.42) and Lee (2:19.81) were right behind her.
The Panthers would go on to take first place in the 50 Free (Stewart), 100 Fly (Helsby), and 200 IM (
Anna Jordan Luth).
