Birmingham, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern women's swimming and dive team returned to the pool with their second dual meet of the year. After a stellar performance yesterday, January 21, the Panthers brought that momentum in this meet taking on SAA teams Millsaps and Berry College. The Panthers dominated against Millsaps with a final score of 202-37. Berry came to compete in the pool, but BSC held them off winning the meet 143-127. The Panthers won 8 out of the 30 events in the meet.
The Panthers dominated in the relay side of the meet. BSC collected first place (3:43.99) and second place (3:51.21) in the 400 Free Relay.
Corinne Kuiters led the Panthers in the 1000 Free picking up first place with a time of 11:24.21.
Ella Falco claimed first place in the 200 Free with a time of 2:02.69.
Mary Katherine Stewart held it down for the Panthers coming in first in the 100 Back (1:01.29) and 200 Back (2:12.88).
Anna Jordan Luth place first in the 200 Fly finishing with a time of 2:20.02.
Sabrina Morgavi took first place in the 100 Fly with a time of 1:05.44.
The Panthers continued to take first through third place in the 100 Free (
Regan Skedgell,
Ella Falco, and
Anna Grace Pell) and the 200 Back (
Mae Moore,
Rachael Brooks, and Stewart).
