GLOVER AT THE BUZZER

DANVILLE, Ky. - Cameron Glover sent the Panther faithful home happy after hitting a three pointer as time expired to defeat conference foe Centre 93-92. Glover finished with 18 points, five rebounds, and five assists.

Birmingham-Southern and Centre traded baskets for a large part of the first half. Centre pulled away late in the half but, the Panthers responded with a 15-5 run to pull within one point (41-40) with 2:11 remaining in the first half. Luke Touliatos and Christian Stewart led the way each scoring multiple baskets on the run.

BSC tied it up with 1:01 left in the half, before Centre took a two-point lead into halftime, 47-45.

The second half opened up with both teams trading baskets again. About halfway through the period the Colonels started to pull away and led by as much as 14 (78-64) with 8:19 left. Three straight three-pointers by Kaleb Green, Ju'Quan Williams, and Cameron Glover brought the lead back down to eight.

The threes did not stop there, Cameron Glover and Ju'Quan Williams each hit another one and cut the lead to two points with just under six minutes left. Centre never lead by more than seven points the rest of the game.

The Colonels missed three free throws down the stretch keeping the game within one possession. BSC inbounded the ball and immediately called a timeout. Out of the timeout Cameron Glover game around a couple screens, and in one motion, caught and shot the ball.

Glover hit the shot as time expired and won the game for the Panthers, 93-92.
