PUTMAN HAS CAREER HIGH GAME

DANVILLE, Ky – The Birmingham-Southern women's basketball team returned to conference play for this first game of 2022 against Centre College. The Panthers had four players to score in double digits but fell short with a final score of 113-87.
 
Audra Putman had a career-high game in three different categories. Putman recorded 16 points outscoring her 15 point game against Hendrix on February 13, 2021. She also recorded six rebounds beating her old record of five against Oglethorpe on January 23, 2021. Putman also recorded four blocks to set a career high.
 
Brooke Westhoelter recorded 15 points and six rebounds. Josie Wannemuehler dropped 13 points, two rebounds, and two assist. Anna Beth Giles contributed 12 points, five rebounds, four steals, and two assist.
