Game Recap: Men's Soccer |

PANTHERS WIN BIG IN REGULAR SEASON FINALE

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's soccer team won their final match of the regular season behind a stellar performance from the seniors.

The Panthers were in control of this match from kickoff, moving up and down the pitch with ease. Their command was further solidified when Jackson Saunders sent a high-arching cross to perfectly set up Elijah Schwartzkopf to score on a header.

Shots kept flying as the Panthers looked to extend their lead while easily keeping the Majors in check on the other end. Trey Kirksey quickly got to work after subbing in, setting up Trey Hines to score after less than one minute of game time.

The Panthers continued their dominance right away in the second half sending up shat after shot. They would break through once again with Bryan Arteaga sent up a solid ball for Coleman Jennings send into the net.

With time winding down, the Panthers subbed in an almost entirely new lineup, but it would not interrupt the momentum. They continued to be on the attack, and a free kick gave Max Albertson to perfect positioning to sink the final goal of the match.
