DEMOREST, Ga. – Birmingham-Southern women's tennis fell to the Piedmont Lions 6-3.
The Panthers had one win on the day in doubles play. The duo of
Ansley Turley and
Maddi Stewart took that win for the Panthers in a close match, winning it 8-7 over the Lions. Falling behind in doubles play, BSC looked to capitalize on their singles play to take home a win.
Ansley Turley once again took a win for the Panthers. She took the No. 1 matchup and won in straight sets.
Sarah Rushing took the other singles win at the No. 4 position. Rushing took the game in straight sets.
