Birmingham, Ala. – The Birmingham-Southern men's lacrosse team opened the season taking on LaGrange College at home. BSC led the whole game against LaGrange with an outcome of 23-2.
The first half was a spectacular performance for BSC with over half of their points coming in the first and second quarter of the game. The Panthers put up 15 points in the first half with
Raymond Fracchia and
Austin Johnson leading the team in points in the first half of the game. BSC kept the momentum going in the second half putting up eight more points to finish LaGrange off.
Raymond Fracchia led the game in points scoring six for the Panthers.
Austin Johnson contributed a total of three goals for the team. Johnson added on a total of eight ground balls to help run the field for the panthers.
Cameron Herd shared the ball well picking up five assist and leading the Panthers in this category. Herd also contributed two goals for the Panthers.
