Match Recap: Men's Tennis |

PANTHERS FINISH 3-1 AT USTA NATIONAL CAMPUS

ORLANDO, Fla.  – Birmingham-Southern men's tennis finished 3-1 at USTA National Campus in Orlando, Fla. The Panthers played some great competition and took down Division II school, Post University in a close 4-3 win. Following that victory, they fell to Hamilton College 7-2 but came back to defeat Luther 5-4 and Saint Ambrose 8-1.

Match one: BSC was ready to go in their first match with a doubleheader on the first day. Due to this game being played against Post University, a Division II school, the match was played by their rules. The Panthers took two out of the three doubles matches to earn the one point for doubles play.

No. 1 Hallet Green was the first to finish in singles play, taking his opponent in straight sets. No. 4 Tanner Debardelaben also won his match in straight sets. Post won three singles matches to tie up the score with the Panthers. No. 3 Elijah Ingleson finished it off for the Panthers, winning his match in a tiebreaker set to clinch the victory 4-3 for BSC.
