SEWANEE, Tenn. – The Birmingham-Southern men's tennis team fell to #30 Sewanee in a crazy long matchup that lasted three hours for one Panther.
The Panthers lost in all three doubles matches, with No. 1 duo of
Wilbur Dotson and
Bo Williams and No. 2,
Hallet Green and
Elijah Ingleson, falling 8-4. The No. 3 duo of
Tom Smith and
Dru Gresham fell 8-1 to the Tigers. No. 3, No. 4, No. 5 and No. 6 singles all fell in straight sets to the Tigers. No. 1
Hallet Green and No. 2
Wilbur Dotson were the only two Panthers to push the Tigers to a tiebreaker set.
Hallet Green was the lucky Panther to take home a win against Sewanee's No. 1 singles player, in a three hour long match that ended in a 12-10 tiebreaker set victory.
