MOUNT BERRY, Ga. - The Birmingham-Southern softball team fell to Berry College, ending their run in the conference tournament. The Panthers fell in game one 7-3 and then lost in the final game 10-0.
Game one
Berry was the first on the board in game one of the series, putting up their first run in the bottom of the first. The Panthers came back, putting up one in the top of the second but Berry was not far behind adding another run in the second as well. The Vikings put up another run in the bottom of the third and two more in the fourth. Unfortunately, Berry was not done yet and put up two more of their own runs in the bottom of the fifth to make it 7-1. The Panthers tried to make a comeback adding two runs in the top of the seventh but were unable to come out on top.

Game two
Cassidy Dickson kept the Vikings scoreless in the top of the first, with them leaving two on base. Dickson saw a 1-2-3 inning in the top of the second with a strikeout and another quick third inning. Berry put up 8 runs on 7 hits in the top of the fourth after the Panthers were unable to score any, the Vikings took the lead 8-0. The Panthers left two on in the bottom of the fourth unable to capitalize on their hits. Berry added two more runs to make it 10-0 in the top of the fifth, ending the game after the Panthers were scoreless in the fifth.
