PANTHERS SCORE TRIPLE DIGITS IN BACK-TO-BACK GAMES

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham-Southern women's basketball team scored in triple digits for the second consecutive game and seventh overall this season in a 120-74 win over Sewanee. The win earns them a third consecutive victory over the Tigers.

The Panthers were in complete control from the moment the ball tipped off. The Panthers started the game on a 30-2 run before ending the half up 20 by a score of 20-10. The Panthers outscored the Tigers over the next two quarters by double digits to create an inerasable lead. 

McKenna Buckner and Sameera Elmasri led all Panther scorers with 17 points. Buckner also tallied three rebounds and three steals with her 17 point outburst. Elmasri earned five boards, three assists, and four steals to go with her double-figure performance. Lilly Hart scored in double figures in back-to-back games after posting 13 points and two boards. Brooke Westhoelter, Montana Harris and Lauryn Towns all scored in double figures combining for 33 points. 

Kayla Antoine led all scorers with 33 points in a double-double performance where she also recorded 21 rebounds. Lilly Phillips recorded 15 points and two rebounds in the loss.
