BIRMINGHAM, AL. The Panthers men's soccer team competed in two SAA matchups at home last weekend.
Game 1 vs Centre
The SAA matchup between Centre and BSC was a big one as both teams needed three points to climb up the table.
After a very even 30 minutes Centre struck first with a goal in the 39th minute. The half ended at 1-0.
Centre came out with four shots in the first 10 minutes of the second half, but BSC would equalize on a
Trey Kirksey penalty kick.
The two teams would split points with a 1-1 final score.

Game 2 vs Sewanee
Sewanee came to town after a 3-0 win over Millsaps. This game was very competitive as the Panthers out shot the Tigers 9-8.
Sewanee started the scoring off with two goals in the first half.
Pirmin Blattmann had a great chance to score just before the half, but the shot was saved by the Tigers keeper. The Tigers took a 2-0 lead into halftime after a few good chances by the Panthers.
10 cards where given out in this game including two red cards. One red card would result in a penalty kick for the Tigers and a 3rd goal.
Final score 3-0.
