Birmingham, AL. – The Birmingham-Southern football team loses a close battle to Millsaps 14-8.
BSC led the game with 307 total yards and 19 first downs. After a scoreless first quarter the first score came on a 13 yard
Mitch Thompson rush. The Panthers would go for two with a rush from
Kobe Hughes and lead 8-0.
Another score would not come until the 3rd quarter when Millsaps quarterback Gray Jennings passed to Connor Ladner for a 23 yard touchdown. BSC leads the game 8-7.
Millsaps start the 4th quarter with a 66 yard drive that would result in a touchdown and make the score 14-8. BSC would respond with a long drive that ended at the Millsaps 7 yard line. Southern' would ultimately fall 14-8.
Kobe Hughes would rush 32 times for 152 yards for almost five yards a carry.
