SEWANEE, Tenn. – The Birmingham-Southern women's swimming & diving team competed against #2 Emory on Saturday. Diver Anna Cate Goodson broke the 1 meter 11 dive school record in the meet.
 
In the women's 1 meter 11 dive, Anna Cate Goodson finished in second place overall with a score of 224.37. Her score broke the BSC record for the 1 meter 11 dive event. AC Taylor earned a fourth place finish in this event with a score of 217.80. Goodson also took home second place honors in the 3 meter 6 dive with a score of 224.02. AC Taylor earned third with a 210.30.

Goodson also made the regional qualifiers with her impressive diving display this weekend.

• 4th in 400 Yard IM - Amelia Cooper (4:55.36)
• 4th in 200 Yard Butterfly - Clare Sprinkle (2:34.25)
• 4th in 200 Yard Backstroke - Ansley Pecoul (2:25.52)

The Panthers next event is at Sewanee for the Sewanee Invite on Friday, Oct. 27 at 4 p.m.
