MEMPHIS, TN. – The #6 seeded Birmingham-Southern women's soccer team fought until the end against the #3 seeded Rhodes Lynx.
The game started with a quick chance from Rhodes player Grace Culver just after the 1st minute. Rhodes went on to score after a flurry of chances, with a 22nd minute goal from Sophia Rall. Rall tallied a total of 12 shots, nine of which were on goal. Rhodes took a 3-0 lead into the half.
Both of Southern's shots came in the second half by forward
Juliet Williams. Four more goals came in the second half ending the scoring at 7-0. Sophia Rall and Grace Culver both finish with two goals for Rhodes.The Lynx out shot BSC 37-2. Birmingham-Southern ends there season on the road against a very good Rhodes side.
