SEWANEE, Tenn. – The Birmingham-Southern Women's swimming & diving team opened their season this past weekend with the swimmers competing against Sewanee and Centre at Sewanee and the divers competing in Moultrie, Georgia.
 
The swimmer's were led by sophomore Amelia Cooper with a second place finish in the 200 Yard IM with a time of 2:19.95. The team also had two relay runner-ups in the 200 Yard Freestyle and 400 Yard Freestyle. 

Anna Cate Goodson led the divers in Moultrie with a score of 191.35 in the 1 Meter Dive.

• 3rd in 200 Yard IM - Samantha Feild
• 3rd in 50 Yard Freestyle - Madelyn Dawson
• 3rd in 500 Yard Freestyle - Clare Sprinkle
• 2nd in 200 Yard Freestyle Relay - Alex Sprague, Regan Skedgell, Ella Falco, & Chloe Carignan
• 3rd in 100 Yard Backstroke - Ansley Pecoul
• 2nd in 400 Yard Freestyle Relay - Ella Falco, Madelyn Dawson, Amelia Cooper, & Alex Sprague
