BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham-Southern women's tennis team bounced back after a tough loss on their opening day. The Panthers turned things around to sweep Snead State Community College, 9-0.
BSC picked up the first three points of the match winning on all three doubles courts. The duos of Phoebe Shapard and Isabella Lambert, and Meg Griffin and Anna Marie Bentley swept their opponents 8-0. The court two duo of Anna Beth Giles and Anna Cate Weeks took their opponents 8-1.
In singles, on courts three and five, Anna Marie Bentley and Anna Cate Weeks took their opponents in straight sets at 6-0. Courts one, two, four and six also took their matches in straight sets, only dropping a point or two to their opponents.
