- The Panthers struck first as Margot Peters scored just about a minute and a half into the contest.
- Montevallo scored nine unanswered goals to take a 9-1 lead just over halfway through the second quarter.
- Margot Peters scored another Panther goal to cut the lead to 9-2.
- Montevallo scored twice more before the half ended to take an 11-2 lead.
- The Falcons outscored the Panthers 5-2 in the second half to win the contest 16-4.
