BSC DROPS THIRD STRAIGHT TO MONTEVALLO

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The Birmingham-Southern women's lacrosse team dropped their third in a row after falling 16-4 to University of Montevallo at General Krulak Stadium on Wednesday, Mar. 1.

How it happened
  • The Panthers struck first as Margot Peters scored just about a minute and a half into the contest.
  • Montevallo scored nine unanswered goals to take a 9-1 lead just over halfway through the second quarter.
  • Margot Peters scored another Panther goal to cut the lead to 9-2.
  • Montevallo scored twice more before the half ended to take an 11-2 lead.
  • The Falcons outscored the Panthers 5-2 in the second half to win the contest 16-4.
