ATLANTA, Ga. - The Birmingham-Southern men's tennis played a tough match against No. 8 Emory on Saturday but ultimately fell 9-0.
Birmingham-Southern fought hard in doubles play with No. 1 duo
Tanner DeBardelaben and
Wil Dotson falling with the closest match, falling 8-5. No. 2
Eli Ingleson and
Sam Tolbert fell 8-4, and court three doubles
Ryan King and Tom smith lost 8-3.
The Panthers put up a good fight against the Eagles but were shutout in singles play. No. 3
Sam Tolbert took his opponent to a tiebreaker set and fell 10-7. All other matches ended in straight sets for the Panthers.
