FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - The Birmingham-Southern men's tennis bounced back after their loss to take down Methodist University in an 8-1 victory.
Birmingham-Southern fought hard in doubles play, taking the sweep and earning all three points. Court three finished first with
Ryan King and
Tom Smith defeating their opponents 8-1.
Sam Tolbert and Eli Ingelson were next with an 8-3 victory, while the No. 1 duos battled it out in a close match that gave BSC the win 8-7. Courts 3, 4, 5 and 6 finished in straight set victories for Birmingham-Southern in singles play. No. 2
Ryan King fought hard in a tiebreaker set that he took 10-8 to earn another point for BSC. Court one,
Wil Dotson, fell in straight sets to Methodist.
